Over the past several years, the Beekman Soccer Club has experienced significant growth in both numbers of players and quality of play.  We now offer travel teams spanning most age groups.  The Board’s philosophy for the travel program is to provide a general framework for our coaches to follow, while also allowing them the flexibility to run their team like a franchise.  The primary thing we require of our coaches is for them to be fully transparent regarding the type of team they are running and the expectations of the families that join.  The flexibility we afford our coaches has been a major draw to our program.

Continuing in Fall 2025, Beekman Soccer will have multiple teams in many age groups, including several playing in premier leagues.  Our teams participate in various leagues throughout the region. Giving coaches the option to choose the right league for their team is another way in which we provide flexibility to each travel coach within our program.  This structure also allows players and parents to choose the right type of team they would like to try out for.

Our Club runs its annual Beekman Cup Columbus Day tournament.  The proceeds from this event are deposited into individual budgets established for each travel team.  Teams can generate additional revenue through sponsorships for the event, which once again go directly into the teams’ budget.  This helps build the franchise-like structure that coaches enjoy.
